How to measure cricket gloves and batting pads
Use the glove measurement requested by the calculator rather than choosing by age alone. For batting pads, measure from the centre of the kneecap down toward the instep as shown in the tool. Brand construction can vary, so treat the result as a starting size and confirm the individual product guide before ordering.

Common cricket glove and pad size questions
How should junior batting gloves fit?
They should feel secure without excessive movement, while still allowing the player to close their fingers naturally around the bat handle. Browse junior batting gloves after checking the calculator.
How do I know if batting pads are too big?
The knee roll should sit around the knee and the pad should not interfere with running, bending or stance. If the knee sits well below the knee roll, the pad is likely too large.
What is the difference between junior, youth and adult pads?
The labels describe progressively larger fits, but measurements differ between manufacturers. Use the calculator result first, then compare junior pads, youth pads or adult pads.
Do batting gloves and pads need to match my batting hand?
