How to request a price beat

Email info@nzcricketstore.com with:

• A link to the NZ Cricket Store product.
• A working link to the competitor’s product.
• The required size, colour, batting hand and quantity.
• A screenshot if the advertised price is temporary.

We may contact the competing retailer to confirm the product’s price and availability.

Price Beat conditions

• All requests are reviewed individually and remain at the discretion of NZ Cricket Store. We reserve the right to decline any request.
• The competing product must be identical, including the brand, model, edition, material or grade, size, colour, batting hand and included accessories.
• The product must be brand new and available for immediate purchase from an established New Zealand retailer.
• The competitor must physically hold the product in stock within New Zealand. Pre-orders, backorders, special orders, overseas stock and products dispatched by a distributor or third party are excluded.
• The competitor’s price must be publicly advertised in New Zealand dollars and include GST.
• We compare the total delivered price. Shipping, rural delivery charges, membership fees and other compulsory costs will be included in the comparison.
• The advertised price must be current and available to the general public when we verify it.
• Clearance, liquidation, closing-down, damaged, ex-display, refurbished, used, auction and marketplace products are excluded.
• Trade, wholesale, club, employee, loyalty-member, subscription, coupon, bundle, multi-buy and cash-only prices are excluded.
• Obvious pricing errors and products with incorrect descriptions or specifications are excluded.
• A price beat cannot be combined with another NZ Cricket Store discount, promotional code, bundle offer or store credit.
• We cannot approve a price that would result in NZ Cricket Store selling the product below cost or at a negative margin.
• Requests must be submitted and approved before the NZ Cricket Store order is placed.
• An approved price is valid for 24 hours, subject to stock remaining available.
• We may limit an approved price to one item per customer.

An approved price applies only to the specific product and variant verified in the request. Approval of a previous request does not guarantee approval of future requests.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act.
