The details that matter.

MRF Genius Supreme English Willow Cricket Bat is a premium Short Handle bat built for players who want a traditional shape with a powerful but balanced feel. MRF describes the Supreme as finely handcrafted from superior-quality English willow, shaped for stability and designed to combine power with strong pickup.

Key Features

Superior-quality English willow
Finely handcrafted blade
Traditional shape for stability through the hitting zone
Power-focused profile with balanced pickup
Senior Short Handle size

Best Suited For

Senior club and competitive players who prefer a traditional bat shape and want a premium MRF model that feels solid through impact while remaining balanced in pickup.

Pickup & Bat Selection

Two bats of the same model can still feel different because willow density and weight distribution vary naturally. If pickup is important to you, focus on how the individual bat moves in your hands rather than only the scale weight.

Bat Preparation

Check the blade before hard-ball use. English willow may require additional knocking-in, oiling or protective-facing work before it is match-ready.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size is the Supreme?
This listing is Senior Short Handle.

How does it differ from the Run Machine?
Both use a traditional shape and emphasise balance, but the Supreme sits as a premium model focused on superior willow and a power-packed, balanced profile.

Can I request bat-preparation services?
Yes. NZ Cricket Store workshop services are available separately.

Care and common questions

How should I care for this product?

Follow the bat manufacturer’s oiling, knocking-in and storage instructions. Introduce natural-willow bats gradually to hard-ball use; a workshop service does not guarantee immediate match readiness. Avoid excessive oil, damp storage and direct heat. Check face, edges and toe after play.

How do I choose the right size?
