Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the Gen Z Vibe or Gen Z Nova?

This is the Gen Z Vibe. Nova is a different model and is not substituted.

What size am I ordering?

Adult Short Handle. Size 5, Size 6 and Harrow are not included in this listing.

Is it English willow?

Yes. This listing is for the English willow model. A numerical grade is not guaranteed here.

What handle does it use?

The supplier describes a round combination Sarawak cane handle with a scale grip.

Does it need knocking-in?

Follow the preparation and knocking-in guidance supplied. Do not assume the bat is ready for match play out of the box.

Can I request a particular weight?

Is a padded cover guaranteed?

A cover is not confirmed in the source specification for this listing. Contact us before ordering if a cover is essential.

Are the images of the exact bat I will receive?

They show the model, not a selected individual bat. Grain, wood colour and small cosmetic details can vary.

When will it arrive?

Refer to the fulfil-by and delivery estimates on the product page and at checkout. Preparation requests may add time. Contact us before purchase for a specific match deadline.

Care and common questions

How should I care for this product?

Follow the bat manufacturer’s oiling, knocking-in and storage instructions. Introduce natural-willow bats gradually to hard-ball use; a workshop service does not guarantee immediate match readiness. Avoid excessive oil, damp storage and direct heat. Check face, edges and toe after play.

How do I choose the right size?
